NEW 6 Pack D.A.P. Dog Appeasing Pheromone Spray (360 mL)
Posted by admin on Feb 20, 2009

Enjoy extra savings with our 6 pack D.A.P. spray bottles. D.A.P. (Dog Appeasing Pheromone) helps stop or prevent fear and stress-related behavior in puppies and adult dogs that result in: destructive behavior, excessive vocalization (barking, whining, etc.), house soiling, excessive licking, anxiety. D.A.P. helps comfort the puppies and adult dog in stressful situations such as: introduction to visitors or strangers, visits to the veterinarian, moving to new homes, adoption, novel and unpredictable situations leading to phobic reactions. In mammals, lactating females release substances called “appeasing pheromones” the function of which is to reassure the offspring. Canine “appeasing pheromones” are secreted by the sebaceous glands of the intermammary sulcus in the lactating bitch. These pheromones calm the puppy during times of stress and provide reassurance, particularly in unknown environments and when encountering novel experiences. Research has shown that the reassuring properties of these pheromones persist even into adult age. D.A.P. (Dog Appeasing Pheromone) reproduces the properties of the natural “appeasing pheromones” of the bitch.

What can i do to stop my anxiety attacks?
Posted by admin on Feb 20, 2009
I have severe panic attacks when people throw up. seeing htem throw up, hearing them, hearing about someone puking, anything.
everywhere i go, especially crowded places, im terrified someone is going to puke.
I know they say the best way to stop anxiety is to over come it and face it. but i really dont feel like going and watching someone puke. thats gross beyond gross.
what should i do? im sick of feeling like this.
You should really speak to your doctor about this!… Do you see a therapist?… If not then you should start seeing one on a regular basis, they can teach you some really great life strategies and skills on how to cope better with your anxiety attacks! Just try to relax when you can… When you're home maybe try listening to some relaxation music, close your eyes and just focus on the peace full music, it's kinda like meditating! If you have faith in god or even if you are a spiritual person then praying or meditating in the spirit while doing this can really help! But you should get therapy for this as well!… I hope that helps…Hang in there!
is that true gay people suffering of anxiety, low self-steem and depression for not being accepted for others?
Posted by admin on Feb 20, 2009
and we suffered attacks.. I don't know I have thought a gay man who is feminine is probably to suffer oral attacks than a gay who is manly and stuff like that and as well for lesbians.. and discrimination for acting like this or appearance but I think gay who are feminine have a high self-steem becuase they don't care to act feminine in front of others.
Some seem to do it for attention. Others, as you said, don't care one way or another. No one knows what a person is thinking.
Does quiting drinking help stop anxiety and depression?
Posted by admin on Feb 20, 2009
I'm hoping quiting drinking will help lesson my anxiety and depression. Any helpful ideas or stories will be appreciated.
Negative emotions (like sadness, stress, anger, etc.) causes your Serotonin production to be low; when your Serotonin level is low, you are more prone to getting Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Depression, etc.
Medication like Antidepressants (SSRI - Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor) helps to boost Serotonin level.
But there are natural ways to do it without medication. There's this herb called "St John's Wort" - it is said to be more effective than Prozac. No, it is not for mild depression only and ignore those sayings. In fact, it does help anxiety and panic-attacks as St John's Wort works like prozac. Other natural ways will be exercise, diet, more exposure to light, etc.
If you're unable to take St John's Wort, you can substitute it with Siberian Ginseng or Licorice Herb.
The problem is that, even if your Serotonin is balanced… you have that "learned behavior" in your mind. You need to break that initial cycle to destroy that learned behavior - Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) does this. A technique that you can use without CBT will be Distraction… There are several other techniques to help cope them!
Ok, to use Distraction: Firstly, try to….
