A shot of Jack. Of course, I am kidding, so seriously—- raquetball(or any kind of exercise) is helpful, hot tub, massage is unbelievably helpful, anti-anxiety medication(like Zoloft $13.95 or Lexapro $99.95) is no slouch either, if it gets to that point, meditation, prayer, service to others gets your mind off of #1 and is helpful. Connecting with others on a spiritual level is helpful, too.

Strong cammomile tea. I always liked it straight without anything in it, but some people will put honey in it. Cammomile will settle you down, peppermint will wake you up. I had severe stomach problems due to a job once and would make cammomile tea by using about 10 ounces of water with two new tea bags. I'd sip it while it cooled then drink it when it cooled down enough, then immediately make another cup (in the microwave I boiled it for about a minute) using both of the used tea bags and sometimes one new one. I drank it like that several times during the day always reusing the tea bags once or twice. After about 3 or 4 glasses I would start to feel better, then I'd just drink one every couple of hours to keep my stomach from feeling bad.
